Alice in Wonderland (RKO, 1951). Rolled, Fine-. Insert (14" X 36").
One can't help but smile when gazing at this delightful poster with the beloved Alice surrounded by her coterie of whimsical Wonderland characters. Walt Disney himself supervised the animation of this timeless classic, and it is one of the best from his studio. The all-star cast of voices includes Kathryn Beaumont as Alice, and Ed Wynn as the Mad Hatter. This insert features the artwork used on the one sheet, but also includes the Cheshire Cat, voiced by Sterling Holloway. Unbacked, this poster has received restoration to address a small chip, a couple of surface cuts in the title, and large tears. One of the tears extends from the lower credits area into the Walrus' image. The pink background and border have been airbrushed. There are some post-restoration tears and a piece of archival tape on the verso.
