Alien (20th Century Fox, 1979). Fine/Very Fine on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41") Advance.
The 1970s was a decade of reconstruction for science fiction movies, and chief among those genre-defining films is Ridley Scott's Alien. Though the director was inspired by the low-budget1958 flick It! The Terror from Beyond Space, Scott's homage to the film spared no expense when it came to atmosphere and visual effect, particularly the disturbing aliens designed by H.R. Giger. Advance posters for this picture are popular among collectors, and this example has had touchup applied to the folds, a couple of pinholes, a minor bottom right corner chip, and a tear from the upper edge into the black field.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
