Where East is East (MGM, 1929). Folded, Very Fine. One Sheet (27" X 41").A grizzled animal trapper living in Indo-China and supplying wild animals for the circus, played by Lon Chaney, confronts his daughter's fiancé (Lloyd Hughes), as his daughter (Lupe Velez) and her mother (Estelle Taylor) watch, on this dramatic and fabulous stone litho poster. Famed director and frequent Chaney co-collaborator Tod Browning (Dracula, Freaks), is at the directorial helm. Printed in gorgeous stone litho, this exceedingly rare one sheet shows only pinpoint crossfold wear, and an extra vertical fold. There are some strips and pieces of paper tape on the verso at the crossfolds and a few places at the edges.
