    Description

Moran of the Lady Letty (Paramount, 1922). Rolled, Fine/Very Fine. Insert (14" X 36").
On the heels of their phenomenal success with The Sheik, director George Melford and heartthrob Rudolph Valentino reunited for this film about a young Spaniard forced to set sail on a smuggler's ship. The real star of the film, Dorothy Dalton, emerges when Valentino's character saves her from a burning vessel. Lovely dimple-cheeked, brunette Dalton had a relatively short career, but her popularity remained long after she stopped making pictures. Making its Heritage debut, this hand-tinted insert shows slight edge wear, a few creases, small border tears, and a couple of nicks. Also visible are some mild paper lifts in the borders, two very minor holes in the left border, as well as faint foxing. There are two horizontal tears in the lower image, one of which has been braced with linen tape on the verso. Valentino's hat has a few small holes which have splices attached on the verso with a couple of pieces of linen tape. Rolled, Fine/Very Fine.
