Description

Isle of Fury (Warner Brothers, 1936). Window Card (14" X 22"). Okay, we all know that not every film can be great, but, when Humphrey Bogart claims he never made the film and that, "it was just a guy who looked like me," you just have to wonder. The film was shot in sixteen days and Bogart complained to Jack Warner bitterly about the script. It didn't matter. Bogart was a contract player and contract players did as they were told or else. This window card has wear to the top edge and lower left corner. The right corner had been torn off but has been reattached. There is minor color touch to the white areas in the title and a few spots in the background. Very Good.
