    Description

    Zatoichi Meets Yojimbo (Daiei, 1970). Japanese B1 (40.25" X 29").
Shintaro Katsu and Toshiro Mifune square off against one another in this period drama, with Katsu portraying the blind masseuse and swordsman Zatoichi of Kan Shimozawa's popular novels. Mifune, meanwhile, acts in a role similar to that as his wandering samurai from Akira Kurosawa's Yojimbo, although here he plays a distinctly different character to that of the famous Ronin with No Name. This poster, the first of its kind that Heritage has ever sold, features a great image of Katsu and Mifune, and has touchup to the folds and two mirrored tears at the top and bottom of the poster. There are still a few unaddressed pinholes, but the poster looks wonderful overall. Very Fine- on Linen.
