    Description

2001: A Space Odyssey (MGM, 1968). Fine on Linen. Cinerama One Sheet (27" X 41") Style A, Robert McCall Artwork.
Stanley Kubrick received a Best Director Oscar nomination for his landmark sci-fi adventure and took home a well-deserved gold statue for Best Special Visual Effects. An instant classic at its release, the impact of the film is still felt today as it significantly raised the bar for every sci-fi film to follow. It was shown at a few select Cinerama theaters in its initial opening, meaning that not many of these posters were printed and are highly collectible items. Touchup has been applied to the folds, pinholes, and minor tears. There are a few unaddressed surface scuffs, unobtrusive stains, slight toning, and some color fading.

    Estimate: $1,500 - $3,000.
