When top sci-fi film producer George Pal was happily developing his whimsical Puppetoons in the 1940's, we wonder if he dreamed of winning an Oscar for Best Special Effects for a terrific 1953 sci-fi film that still holds up in showings today. This complete set of lobby cards are in an uncommonly high grade for such an extremely popular film where the advertising materials were constantly used and re-used. Only one card has an upper center background pinhole, there is minor edge wear on only one card with a tiny border tear. There is very mild creasing on one card and three cards have paper tape remnants on the reverse that do not affect the display of the cards. The color is very fresh on all the cards. Very Fine-.
