Forbidden Planet (MGM, 1956). Poster (40" X 60").
Robby the Robot holds lovely Anne Francis in his arms on one of the very best posters produced for this important sci-fi title. We just wish that more studios had opted for this style of screen printing. It produces a poster with a luster and brilliance of color that the normal printing process cannot duplicate. Another copy of this lovely poster is shown full-page in the book, "The World's Rarest Movie Posters" by Todd Spoor. He mentions there are three copies known to exist. This would be number 4! There are only some background pinholes, edge wear, small stains in the bottom border into the credits, tears in the top and bottom borders, horizontal creasing, and a corner bend in the bottom right. Rolled, Fine/Very Fine.
