Frank Sinatra gives one of his strongest performances as Frankie Machine, a recovering heroin addict whose manipulative wife (Eleanor Parker) won't let him give up his lucrative gambling job to pursue his dreams of becoming a jazz musician. After the death of his pusher (Darren McGavin), Frankie is given one chance to free himself and follow a better path with the aide of kind-hearted Kim Novak. This terrific banner features the iconic Saul Bass graphics and has creases, edge wear, and smudging. There is a little foxing on the left edge and a small chip in the lower left corner.
