Central Park (Warner Brothers - First National, 1932). One Sheet (27" X 41").
Joan Blondell and Wallace Ford star as two unemployed workers who meet one day in Central Park and are given small jobs for the police department and get mixed up with thieves, an escapee from an asylum, an escaped lion, and a beauty contest. All in one day! Posters from this early sound period at Warner Brothers are some of the most rare in the hobby! Joan Blondell was a big star for the studio by this time also starring in this same year in Big City Blues in which Bogart has but a minor role and in Three on a Match in which she is billed above Bette Davis! This striking stone litho one sheet has minor fold wear with two small holes that have been patched with tape. There is a small tear in the right border repaired with cellophane tape on the reverse, and three pieces of tape at the top edge on the front. A beautiful portrait of the stars, this is a rare gem of a poster. Fine/Very Fine.
