Very few athletes have captured the hearts of American sporting fans like Babe Ruth, a player larger than life. He was like nothing the baseball world had ever seen! A dominating pitcher, Ruth was even more effective at the plate. Following his trade from Boston to New York, he rocketed to even greater fame and fortune. This entertaining lobby card from his second film features the Sultan of Swat going toe to toe with an opinionated umpire. There is a small tear at the top border and slight surface paper loss at the bottom. Dust shadows have formed in the top and right borders and there is minor smudging in the margins. A very rare and great lobby card featuring one of baseball's all-time greats! Fine/Very Fine.
