Bud Abbott and Lou Costello, in one of their best films, meet the Universal monsters. The Frankenstein Monster (Glenn Strange), Dracula (Bela Lugosi) and the Wolf Man (Lon Chaney Jr.), menace the comedy duo in this hilarious horror comedy. This three sheet poster rarely turns up for auction, we have only sold one other copy. It is considered by collectors to be the best art on this title. Prior to the excellent restoration, there were pinholes in the borders, a half inch trim on the borders, one small tear in the upper left and the upper right, and crossfold separation. There has been touchup work to restore the words "Universal International", "Bud", "Lou" and "Meet" in the titles. The work done was excellent, as the artwork itself was in beautiful condition, and the poster has been returned to a wonderful appearance. Fine on Linen.
