Description

Lawrence of Arabia (Columbia, 1962). Insert (14" X 36") Roadshow Style.
David Lean's account of T. E. Lawrence's adventures has become one of the most acclaimed motion pictures in cinematic history; inspiring directors like Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and Martin Scorsese. The monumental epic went on to win Oscars for Best Picture, Director, Sound, Cinematography and others with nominations going to Peter O'Toole for Actor and Omar Sharif for Supporting Actor. This incredible insert features the most desirable art on the film, that of O'Toole attacking on camel. Posters that pre-date the Oscars are the most sought after and bring "premium" prices. This is also the Roadshow version of the insert. Minor defects have been smoothed over with professional restoration. Very Fine+ on Paper.
