Producer David O. Selznick partnered with director Alfred Hitchcock to create this suspenseful and well-acted ghost story. When the new Mrs. de Winter (Joan Fontaine) arrives home, she finds many unwelcoming forces trying to drive her crazy. Laurence Olivier is terrific as the mysterious Maxim de Winter, with Judith Anderson giving a powerful performance as the humorless housekeeper, Mrs. Danvers. This stunning poster has been professionally restored to address fold wear, a tear in Olivier's face, chips in Fontaine's face, a few small chips in the background, 1/2" trimmed from the left and right borders, and tears and chips in the top and bottom borders. These issues are no longer apparent, and this rare and classic item will be a prized item in any top collection. Very Good/Fine on Linen.
