In one of Hitchcock's finest thrillers, James Stewart plays a wheelchair-bound photographer who spies on his neighbors from his apartment window, and then becomes convinced that one of them has committed murder. He enlists the help of his society model girlfriend, played by a luminous Grace Kelly. Filmed entirely on an elaborate set, which gave Hitchcock complete mastery over the environment, this is a masterwork of paranoia and suspense, with a superb performance by Stewart. This impressive three sheet has a clever "voyeur" motif and stunning artwork. Pinholes in the corner, borders, and image area were the only condition issue, and these have been smoothed over with professional conservation. Very Fine+ on Linen.
