Stormy Weather (20th Century Fox, 1943). One Sheet (27" X 41").
With headliners Lena Horne, Bill Robinson, Cab Calloway, and Fats Waller, performing "The Jumpin' Jive," "I Can't Give You Anything but Love," "Ain't Misbehavin,'" etc...this blockbuster musical is a hit from start to finish. Luckily all of these amazing performers appear on this very rare and colorful stone litho one sheet. It has been professionally restored to address pinholes in the corners of the artwork, minor edge wear at the left, a tear in the lower left corner, and a small hole in the left border. There was slight fold wear with a bit of paper loss, and a small area of missing paper in the top of the right border. The restoration was impeccably done, and none of these issues are now apparent, allowing the glorious artwork to display to perfection. This is only the second time we have offered this rare one sheet in auction. Fine+ on Linen.
