The first of five collaborations between director Anthony Mann and star James Stewart, this riveting Western is a groundbreaking look at the harsh realities of frontier life. Following the lives of each owner of a prized Winchester rifle, the story unveils the violence and death that is inevitable. Shelley Winters, Dan Duryea, and Stephen McNally co-star in this superb classic. In great condition, each card in the set shows only corner bumps, and a minimal dust shadow at the edges. One card has a light scratch at the top of the image, and one has a small tear in the right border. Rarely seen in a full set, these cards will garner much deserved attention. Fine/Very Fine.
