An American space probe returns from Venus carrying a hidden stowaway, an embryonic creature known as the Ymir. The monster begins to grow, soon reaching enormous size, and eventually goes on a rampage amidst the glorious structures of Rome in a stop motion extravaganza choreographed by legendary special effects artist Ray Harryhausen. One of the rarest items of merchandising for this classic thriller is a novelization of the story published by Amazing Stories magazine. Offered here is a newsstand poster for said novelization, in superb condition. The poster has edge wear on the left side, dust shadow on the right border, and minor corner bends on the left side. Very Fine/Near Mint.
