This is the only known copy of this six sheet for the first superhero film adaptation of a comic book. This announced the coming of the twelve chapter series and hints at the plot as Captain Marvel (Tom Tyler) hoists the magical gold scorpion figurine above his head out while the villain, "The Scorpion" battles in the lower right. Simply put, no serial or comic collection is complete without this title. Some first-rate conservation has mended pinholes in the corners, edge chips in the top left border, a tear in Captain Marvel's torso, and fold wear with small tears and chips. Fine on Linen.
