Before the dust would completely settle, director Edward Dmytryk's good luck at scoring a great script and a dynamite cast would see his film noir styled story of anti-Semitism garner five Oscar nominations. One was for Robert Ryan's only acting nomination for his chilling portrayal of psychotic bigot, Montgomery. Another was for Best Supporting Actress for Gloria Grahame, featured here on this great three sheet, splendidly sultry in a low-cut, front split dress, with a smoldering cigarette. Best Writing, Picture, and Director, would also get nods. Prior to professional restoration, this dramatic three sheet had pinholes in the corners, minor crossfold separations, a small tear in the left border, and one in the bottom border. Very Fine- on Linen.
