Taxi (Warner Brothers, 1932). Lobby Cards (2) (11" X 14").
This film was the origin of James Cagney's signature rant: "..You Dirty Rat...!!" These two great closeup cards both feature Cagney and a luminous 19 year old Loretta Young. There has been some excellent conservation for the following: A tear through Young's arm in the closeup, and a vertical tear down into the artwork in the taxi card. There was a dime sized hole to the left of Cagney's head in the closeup card, and small chips in the top border that extended into the credits. There was a chip in the bottom right corner of the taxi card. Superb professional conservation has addressed these issues and returned the two cards to looking super sharp. Very Good+.
