Description

The Mysterious Dr. Fu Manchu (Paramount, 1929). Title Lobby Card (11" X 14").
Warner Oland, best remembered for his many portrayals of Oriental detective Charlie Chan, played Sax Rohmer's insidious villain, Fu Manchu, in this, his first of four times in the role. The film co-stars a young Jean Arthur and Neil Hamilton. The posters for this early sound film are very hard to find! We have never offered this title card before. The poster had a bend within the image and some small holes within the border. Professional conservation including cleaning has returned the card to a near mint appearance. Fine.
