Description

The Third Man (Selznick, 1949). One Sheet (27" X 41").
With top direction from Carol Reed, a top story by Graham Greene, production from David O. Selznick, and Orson Welles and Joseph Cotten starring, this film noir is one of the best of the genre. The gripping plot follows Cotten as he investigates the apparent death of his friend Harry Lime (Welles) in war torn Vienna. This gorgeous one sheet has fold separations in the left and top borders, light wrinkling at the bottom, minor tears in the left corners of the background, and small edge tears and stains in the left border. There is a hole under the title, smudges in the right border, and one minor corner chip. This is a must-have for all fans of suspense. Fine.
