The Maltese Falcon (Warner Brothers, 1941). One Sheet (27" X 41").
John Huston's adaptation of Dashiell Hammett's novel helped launch the film noir genre. Humphrey Bogart brought Sam Spade to life, and the rest of the cast became icons of the cinema: Mary Astor, Peter Lorre, Barton McLane, Ward Bond, Elisha Cook Jr., and, making his motion picture debut, Sydney Greenstreet as Kasper Gutman, aka The Fat Man. This dramatic one sheet had border pinholes, small tears in three borders, and minor chips out of the bottom right corner and two borders. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
