Mae West once said..."Virtue has its own reward, but has no sale at the box office.." Ms. West's wisdom was proven in spades when her play "it Ain't No Sin" was about to be released. This is a rare window card with the original title. But the "Production Code" and the New York State Board of Motion Picture Censorship so watered down the film, and gave it a lackluster re-title...Belle of the Nineties, that the film did badly. Starring Mae West, Roger Pryor, Johnny Mack Brown, Katherine DeMille, John Milan, James Dolan, Stuart Holmes, Harry Woods, Edward Gargan, Duke Ellington, Fuzzy Knight. Directed by Leo McCarey. A restored or unrestored poster that has an overall presentable appearance. May show some signs of age, including brittleness, staining, slight fading, pinholes, edge wear, or some paper loss.
