This wonderful book by Jack Mathis is THE definitive reference book on the entire 66 serial films catalogue of Republic Studios. It covers from the first, Darkest Africa, through Zorro's Fighting Legion, Perils of Nyoka and Zombies of the Stratosphere, to the last serial shot, King of the Carnival. The book's printing was limited to only 2000 copies as these were very expensive books to produce in this full-color, oversized volume. Copies in this grade are seldom seen these days. This amazing labor of love coffee table book has only a few tiny scuffs on the top back cover, and just a mild vertical crease on two of the blank front pages. A delight, with cast lists, plot outlines, in-depth research concerning each Republic serial and many, many pictures. Very Fine/Near Mint.
