Forbidden Planet (MGM, 1956). Half Sheet (22" X 28") Style B. Science Fiction.
Starring Walter Pidgeon, Anne Francis, Leslie Nielsen, Warren Stevens, Jack Kelly, Richard Anderson, Earl Holliman, and Robby the Robot. Directed by Fred M. Wilcox. Commander John J. Adams (Leslie Nielsen) arrives on a planet to investigate the sudden absence of communications from its colony of scientists. He soon discovers that all of the scientists are dead - all save Dr. Morbius (Walter Pidgeon) and his daughter Altaira (Anne Francis). The rest have been killed by a strange monster roaming the planet. Not many films 'delivered the goods' that their 1950's brightly colored posters promised. This one did. A restored poster that has an overall presentable appearance. May show some signs of age, including brittleness, staining, slight fading, pinholes, edge or fold wear, fold separations, or some paper loss.
