Description
Fifty-Fifty (Triangle, R-Early 1920s). One Sheet (27" X 41"). Drama.Starring Norma Talmadge, Jack W. Johnston, Marie Chambers, Ruth Darling. Directed by Allan Dwan. 1916 was an important year for the film star Norma Talmadge. Having made only a few previous films, Talmadge was signed by D.W. Griffith for Triangle Film Corporation and made seven films for the studio, including this melodrama about a marriage between a bohemian artist and a staid businessman. Talmadge then met the film producer Joseph M. Schenck, who later that year, married the star and would control her immensely successful career for the next decade. During the silent era, Talmadge was one of the most highly paid and most sought after of the early stars. Her image alone could sell a picture, as this gorgeous stone litho portrait attests. A restored poster with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. It may have tears, slight paper loss, minor stains, and/or some fold separation. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Fine- on Linen.
