Angels With Dirty Faces (Warner Brothers, 1938). Insert (14" X 36"). James Cagney and Pat O'Brien star in this classic about two boyhood friends who grow up on different sides of the law. Cagney, as a youth, is sent to juvenile reform school while his pal, played by O'Brien, escapes the law, reforms himself and becomes a priest. This unbelievably rare insert depicts one of the films most pivotal moments as Cagney's character is getting ready for the electric chair, O'Brien reads him his last rites. The film also features Humphrey Bogart as another classic gangster and The Dead End Kids as the subjects of O'Brien's efforts at reform. One of the greats. There is color touch-up to several crimps and and the fold lines within the image area. There are small tears in the borders. Fine on Paper.
