Description

Kiss of Death (20th Century Fox, 1947). Australian One Sheet (27" X 40"). Victor Mature gives one of his best performances as a petty thief sentenced to 20 years for robbery. In exchange for his freedom, Mature agrees to blow the whistle on sadistic mob boss Richard Widmark, in his auspicious screen debut! This lovely Australian one sheet is a copy of the U.S. one sheet and is brilliant in stone lithography. There were pinholes in the corners, and cross fold separation with paper missing on the center fold, chips in the left border at the fold lines, and a printer's streak on the right border. Restored and placed on linen to give it an excellent appearance. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
