The Adventures of Robin Hood (Warner Brothers, 1938). Six Sheet (81" X 81"). As far as we know, this is the only known six sheet poster for one of the greatest, if not the greatest, swashbuckler adventures ever filmed. The climactic sword fight between Basil Rathbone and Errol Flynn is dramatically and wonderfully represented here, with Olivia de Havilland completing the picture on this amazing poster. There were pinholes in the corners, several small chips along the foldlines, minor edge tears just barely extending into the artwork, censor stamps and a small hole in the middle of the title. All of this has been expertly restored and the poster linenbacked, giving it a magnificent appearance. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
