How Green Was My Valley (20th Century Fox, 1941). One Sheet (27" X 41"). Drama. John Ford's sentimental story of a turn-of-the-century Welsh mining family won the Best Picture Academy Award in 1941. This film remains one of the best remembered of John Ford's long career and of its stellar cast, including Walter Pidgeon, Maureen O'Hara, Roddy McDowell and Donald Crisp. This poster has been linen backed with pinholes repaired, slight paper loss on the lower right corner and some marker bleed-through near the center vertical fold. The "N" of "Green" and the "Y" of "My" have had work to cover the marker. The poster appears to have succumbed to sun fading as well. Very Good/Fine on Linen.
