Irving Berlin provides some of his best numbers for this beloved classic, including the debut of "White Christmas." Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire star as musical partners who part ways over the love of the fickle Virginia Dale. When Crosby makes a success of his rural nightclub that is only open on holidays, with the help of a new love (Marjorie Reynolds) it isn't long before Astaire shows up to spoil things once again. With Astaire dancing, Crosby singing, and Mark Sandrich directing, this picture was an instant box office hit and is as popular today as ever. This rarely seen beauty shows a pinhole in each corner, crossfold separations, and light stains in the lower right border. Very Fine.
