Dracula's Daughter (Universal, 1936).
Lobby Card (11" X 14"). Gloria Holden stars in this "sequel" to the 1931 thriller with Bela Lugosi. This time around, Countess Zaleska goes to London to seek the cure for a mysterious illness, but finds a taste for human blood! Karloff and Lugosi were originally slated for the film as well as director James Whale. Karloff and Whale dropped out and Lugosi was paid a retainer fee- and didn't appear in the film at all. All of the posters and lobby cards on this title are extremely moody and atmospheric and are very desirable to collectors of Universal horror material. There are corner pinholes, a crease on the lower left and right corners, light scratches and a small border stain. These minor defects do not distract and the card displays very well. From the collection of Johnny Ramone. Very Fine-.

The Perils of Nyoka (Republic, 1942).
One Sheet (27" X 41"). This 15-chapter republic serial stars Kay Aldridge as Nyoka Gordon, a woman who leads an expedition into the most remote part of the Libyan desert in search of her father, Professor Henry Gordon, who disappeared while searching for the long-lost golden tablets of Hippocrates. These sacred tablets are supposed to contain cures for many of the deadly diseases that still plague mankind. This poster is for chapter 11 entitled "Unknown Peril." The poster has fold line separations and a touch of paper loss at the fold line intersections, and several small border chips and tears, but displays very well. Overall Fine/Very Fine.

Gone With The Wind Script Sides (MGM, 1939).
(6) Six Pages (8.5" X 11"). In 1936 Producer David O. Selznick began testing actresses for the most coveted role in Hollywood history, the part of Scarlett O'Hara in "Gone With the Wind." It would become the most celebrated talent search in the history of films and the largest publicity push for a film in the planning as every major and minor actress in Hollywood and beyond was considered for the role. Enter Margery Timm, a young actress who had gone to Hollywood in the early thirties hoping to break into the film industry as an actress. She had a number of uncredited bit parts in some of the bigger mainstream films from the thirties as well as "Gone With the Wind"itself. She read for the role of Scarlett in Hollywood, though the exact location is not known but what has survived are her script sides from that audition. Offered in this lot are six typewritten and carbon copied pages of the script from "Gone With the Wind." The cover page is dated November 27, 1937. It is titled "Reading or Test Scene- Rhett and Scarlett, Jail Scene." The scenes are numbered 361 through 363 and the pages are numbered 172 through 176. This is a rare opportunity to be able to own a piece of Hollywood history with these pages from the Seznick Studios reading for perhaps the most famous film ever made. Fine. (Total: 6 pieces)
