Breakfast At Tiffany's (Paramount, 1961)
One Sheet (27" X 41"). Audrey Hepburn turns in the performance of her career as Holly Golightly in the classic "Breakfast at Tiffany's." To say that this is the most sought after poster of the 1960s is no exaggeration and this example is in remarkable condition. There are only a couple of pinholes in the side borders and some light smudging in the white background. There is some slight separation at the center point and a couple of small tears in the lower border. While this may sound fairly distracting, we can assure you that this is being picky and the poster displays beautifully. Very Fine+.

Breakfast at Tiffany's (Paramount, 1961).
Lobby Card Set (8) (11" X 14"). This is Blake Edwards' charming romantic comedy about socialite Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn), who's searching for a rich man to marry, and her romance with a struggling young writer (George Peppard) who moves into her apartment building. Based on the best-selling novel by Truman Capote, the film was nominated for several Academy awards, winning Best Score for Henry Mancini and Best Song for Johnny Mercer's classic tune "Moon River." These lobby cards have trivial border bumps, tears, and smudges. There are staple holes in the top portion of the graphics. The colors are bold and vibrant, and the cards display very well. Fine/Very Fine. (Total: 8 pieces)
Auction 603
| Lot: 16252 | Jul 17, 2004
Sold For:
$3,565.00
Breakfast At Tiffany's (Paramount, 1961).
One Sheet (27" X 41"). Blake Edwards' charming romantic comedy, starring Audrey Hepburn in Truman Capote's story of the off-beat Holly Golightly, remains one of the classics of sixties cinema. Though Capote desperately wanted his friend Marilyn Monroe for the part, Hepburn won out, and with it won the hearts of critics and fans alike. This is a very nice, unrestored copy of this one sheet. There are minor flaws such as a small piece of paper missing from the lower right corner. It has a very small stain in the left border. Fine+.
