Pam Grier Lot (AIP, 1972).
One Sheets (2) (27" X 41") Two Lobby Card Sets (16) (11" X 14"). Pam Grier rose to the forefront of the "blaxploitation" genre (a group of action-adventure films aimed at African-Americans) by portraying fiercely independence superheroines that exuded a strong inner strength, roles that endured her to blacks and feminists alike. Offered in this lot are the one sheets and lobby sets from two of her early pictures; "Black Mama, White Mama" and "Bucktown". All the material in this lot is in excellent condition with only minor, trivial imperfections. Very Fine/Near Mint. (Total: 18 pieces)

Black Horror Lot (AIP, 1974).
One Sheets (2) (27" X 41") Lobby Card Set (11" X 14"). The blaxploitation film makers of the 1970s decided to delve into the horror genre, thus adding a new niche to their market. One of the films represented in this lot is "Abby", which somewhat resembled a film that had recently done big box office, "The Exorcist". Warner Bros studios filed plagiarism charges and had the film pulled from the theaters. The poster for the other film "Dr. Black, Mr. Hyde" shows the famous Watts Towers in the background. "Dr. Black, Mr. Hyde" has two pinholes at the top and trivial fold line wear. The lobby set has a corner crease and scratches across the top of card #6. Other than these trivial flaws the one sheets and the lobby set are all in excellent condition. Very Fine/ Near Mint. (Total: 10 pieces)
