Adventures of Robin Hood (Warner Brothers, 1938).
Window Card (14" X 22"). This film, directed by Michael Curtiz, is perhaps the greatest Hollywood swashbuckler of all time. Errol Flynn brings to life the rogue bandit of Sherwood Forest, and Olivia de Havilland never looked more beautiful than she did in her role as Maid Marian. Wonderful supporting cast included Basil Rathbone, Claude Rains, Alan Hale, Sr., and Eugene Pallette. This poster has two pinholes in the background graphics, minor surface wrinkles, and a crack on the lower left corner. It has been restored in a minimalist fashion and displays very well. Very Fine.

Bring 'Em Back Alive (RKO, 1932).
One Sheet ( 27" X 41"). Adventure documentary starring America's favorite big game hunter of the 30s, Frank Buck. Originally shot MOS, it was later dubbed with an adventure soundtrack, complete with jungle sound effects and Mr. Buck's breathless commentary. Buck appeared on stage in person prior to many of the New York screenings, regaling sold-out crowds with his tales of jungle danger. The one sheet is a true feast for the eyes. Rich bold colors and sweeping lines make this one of those pieces that are visually stronger than the film it advertises. Very Fine on Linen.

The Buccaneer (Paramount, 1938).
One Sheet (27" X 41"). Cecil B. DeMille directs this semi-fictional account of pirate Jean Lafitte's involvement in the War of 1812. Paramount spent lavishly on this l938 version, employing a cast and crew of over 10,000 people. Frederic March stars as Lafitte, his last costumed hero, until he played Columbus over ten years later. This beautiful one sheet pictures a tremendous portrait of a young March. Slight fold separation and a very minor hole in March's chest which is supported with cellophane tape. Very Fine.
