This is the 1986 book chronicling the greatest "Front of House" man that ever lived, Batiste Madalena. He handpainted over 1400 posters for films between 1924 and 1928 in Rochester, New York. Lon Chaney, Garbo, Bow...they're all here in 40 glorious deco inspired images of film grandeur.
