French visual artist Leon Gabriel L. Coulet fashioned this lovely stock stone lithograph around 1910 for the Salle de l'Etoile (The Hall of Stars), in Saint-Etienne, a few hours south of Paris. Imagine the shows that might have been billed on this exquisite theater poster - a traveling shadow puppet act, a mime troupe, a magic act, and then the finale of the evening, a cinema showing! Backed to linen, touch-up has addressed splits, chips and a few tears up to 6-inches to the upper area as well as a small number of pinholes. Additionally, there are a few smudges present. Thanks to talented restoration, the poster displays very nicely and will be a keystone display to any collector's wall.
