Released in the UK as Night of the Demon, the film follows an American psychologist who investigates a satanic cult in England and becomes the target of a deadly supernatural curse. As he struggles to explain the strange events through reason, a terrifying demon begins to manifest, blurring the line between skepticism and belief. The movie masterfully blends psychological tension with supernatural horror, using suggestion, atmosphere, and ambiguity to sustain dread. Its eerie tone, intelligent script, and restrained direction by Jacques Tourneur make it one of the most sophisticated and haunting British horror films of the 1950s. Folded as issued, the poster exhibits only clean staple holes, corner bends, and ink smudges from the printing process. It is remarkably clean and presents well.
