A Universal classic, this charming Style B half sheet for Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein showcases the film's ingenious mix of slapstick comedy and gothic horror as the studio's top funnymen stumble into a world of legendary monsters. Marking Universal's first true venture into the comedy/horror hybrid, it united Bela Lugosi as Count Dracula, Lon Chaney Jr. as the Wolf Man, and Glenn Strange as Frankenstein's Monster, thrilling audiences with a seamless balance of eerie chills and laugh-out-loud antics. Backed to paper, restoration has corrected fold wear, creases, pinholes, fold separation, tears, a few chips (further addressed by replacement), and some stains/staining. Thanks to these efforts, it now presents quite well.
