Description
War of the Colossal Beast (American International, 1958). Very Fine+. One Sheet (27" X 41"). Albert Kallis Artwork.A sequel to The Amazing Colossal Man, the film follows Joyce Manning and a team of scientists who search for her brother, Glenn Manning, after he seemingly died from a fall. They discover Glenn has survived but is now a disfigured, mentally impaired giant due to radiation exposure, symbolizing the unintended consequences of atomic experimentation. Captured and brought back to the U.S., Glenn escapes and rampages through Los Angeles, illustrating society's fear of uncontrollable forces unleashed by technology. His tragic death by electrocution underscores the era's moral cautionary tales, blending spectacle with reflection on the dangers of unchecked scientific ambition. Folded as issued, the poster exhibits only some torn pinholes, pinpoint crossfold separation, and light smudges in the white margins. It presents exceedingly well.
