20th Century Fox recognized early on that Star Wars would be a sensation and spared no effort in building anticipation before its release. To generate that "must-see" excitement, they produced this Style B teaser, featuring the now-legendary line, "A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away." Few phrases in cinema are more instantly recognizable worldwide. Particularly rare in rolled condition, this example shows pinholes, light handling wear and creases, and a tiny loss in the upper left corner.
