Sebastiane, directed by Derek Jarman and Paul Humfress, marks a significant milestone in LGBTQIA+ history as it was the first film to have dialogues entirely in Latin and it centered around an overtly gay narrative. The film poignantly explores the life and martyrdom of Saint Sebastian, bringing out themes of forbidden love and struggle for acceptance; and it continues to stand as a bold testament to queer visibility, since it predates many queer films and was created during a time when such topics remained largely taboo.

Starring Barney James, Neil Kennedy, Leonardo Treviglio, Richard Warwick, and Donald Dunham. Directed by Paul Humfress and Derek Jarman. An unrestored poster that displays signs of use.
