Description

Thunderball (Milton Bradley, 1965). Near Mint. Sealed Board Game (9.5" X 19" X 1.5") & Sealed Vinyl LP (12.25" X 12.25") Frank McCarthy and Robert McGinnis Artwork.
Though this film was preceded by other Sean Connery-led Bond classics including Dr. No, From Russia with Love, and Goldfinger, this production had the largest scale, deepest investment, and at the time the biggest popularity and highest gross of any of Connery's turns as Agent 007 in the 1960s. Connery continued to refine his portrayal of the character in those first three entries of the franchise, and Thunderball shows the actor at his most polished and engaged with the material. Heritage is proud to present this sealed board game released by Milton Bradley to coincide with the release of Thunderball in 1965. Additionally, this lot also includes a sealed vinyl LP of the original motion picture soundtrack for Thunderball released by United Artists Records. Given that both items in this lot are in their original sealing, aside from a minor corner bend to the vinyl LP, the majority of the wear in this lot is within the box of the board game, including slight edge and corner wear, tiny paper lifts, minor creases, mostly unobtrusive smudges or scuffs, or some separation at one of the corners.
