John Wyatt (John Wayne) is a government agent who is sent to the Mexican border to investigate a counterfeit money ring. Posing as a sharpshooter in a traveling medicine show, he partners with Doc Carter and his daughter Linda. As the show rolls into Paradise Canyon, Wyatt uncovers the outlaw responsible for the forgeries, his old nemesis Curly Joe Gale (actor and stuntman Yakima Canutt). Wyatt seeks justice and romance, battling henchmen and finally stopping the counterfeiters. Filmed at locations around Lone Pine, California. There are small or minutes splits to the edges, a 2-inch split to the upper border and a .5-inch split along the vertical fold in the red plaid shirt of the villain in the lower section.
