In this very pre-Code melodrama, Adolphe Menjou plays Captain Geoffrey Roberts, who has fled to India to recover from his affair with Lily Damita. There he meets another of Damita's cast-offs, a young Laurence Olivier in his third screen appearance. Erich von Stroheim appears as Damita's manipulative husband, who has set up the entire scheme to blackmail Damita's multiple lovers. This gorgeous stone litho poster shows two border tears and edge wear.
