Strange Cargo (MGM, 1940). Fine on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41") Style C, Armando Seguso Artwork.
Clark Gable and Joan Crawford had made a number of films for MGM before appearing in this, their last film together. In it, they play a pair of fugitives trying to escape a penal colony, where one of their fellow escapees may even be a spiritual figure. The scarce style C one sheet, by famed artist Armando Seguso, is one of the best to ever feature the two stars and is a lasting tribute to one of the silver screen's finest teams. Touchup to the folds has been done with white paint. There is major staining on the bottom half of the poster that hasn't been addressed. There is a vertical crease on the right side.
