Arsenic and Old Lace (Warner Bros., 1944). Very Fine-. Lobby Card (11" X 14").
The top prize of the set, this lobby card features a helpless Cary Grant as he watches brother Raymond Massey and his henchman Peter Lorre toast each other with poisoned elderberry wine. Frank Capra directs this comedic gem, with Grant as drama critic Mortimer Bruster, a man who discovers that his two pious old aunts, Martha and Abby, have a nasty habit of killing lonely old men and burying them in the cellar, with the aid of their bugle-blowing nephew, Teddy (who thinks he's Teddy Roosevelt). The card displays slight edge wear, a few creases, minor nicks, and pinholes. Also apparent are faint surface scuffs and a couple of very small paper lifts.
